The Montgomery-Floyd Regional Library Mobile Museum presents History on the Huckleberry on Friday, June 21, 2024 near the Coal Mining Heritage Park on the Huckleberry Trail.

The Montgomery Museum of Art and History is partnering with the Montgomery-Floyd Regional Library Bookmobile to bring history alive at the Coal Mining Heritage Park. Meander down the Huckleberry and learn about the history of the Merrimac Mine from local historians and volunteers.

Check out artifacts provided by the museum, or try your luck at mining out a fortune in chocolate chips.

All ages are welcome.

Parking is available at the Huckleberry Trail parking lot near 751 Merrimac Road in Christiansburg, VA.
