The Blacksburg Farmers Market presents their Gardening Book Swap with Music from Amelia Empson along with the regular farmers market vendors on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at Market Square Park.

Blacksburg Books will be out at the Farmers Market with all sorts of used books about gardening, using fresh herbs & vegetables, landscaping, and other garden-related books. Bring your old books and swap them for new ones, or take a few books for a donation!

Any money donated will go towards supporting the Virginia Tech Prison Book Project.

Amelia Empson will be performing live music.

Amelia Empson plays a variety of Indie-Folk and Americana covers and originals from the Appalachian Mountains with talent far beyond her years.

The Blacksburg Farmers Market is open every Saturday April through October from 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Market Square Park in downtown Blacksburg, VA. The Wednesday Market is open from April through December from 2:00-6:00 PM. From November-December, the Saturday hours change to 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM. From January-March, the Saturday hours change to 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM.

Market Square Park is located at 100 Draper Road in Blacksburg, VA.
