The Radford Farmers Market hosts their Fourth of July Celebration in the Glencoe Museum Field on Saturday, June 29, 2024.

Get ready for a fun filled Saturday morning with all of our amazing vendors! Bring your kids for a morning of Free Yoga at 9:30 AM. Of course you'll want to stick around for Face Painting from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM. And, if you're in need of a snack, grab some free cotton candy until it runs out and if you're hungry, we'll have a hot dog stand for purchases ready to go. And for those who might need some summer fun pics, stop by the vintage VW Bus to grab fun pic with your friends and family.

We'll have live music from the talented Neal Skieebo Wyms from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM and CDs will be available for purchase on site.

Neal Skieebo Wyms is a singer, song writer, blues extraordinaire and multi-instrumentalist who hails from Radford, VA and has performed professionally for most of his life. His music ranges from blues, soul, country, R&B, pop, and even some jazz as well as gospel.

Self taught, he plays all the instruments and sings all vocals on his recorded works to date. Neal has taken up guitar playing and added instruments to his repertoire including bass, keyboards, piano, drums, and harmonica. His blues influences are Muddy Waters, Howling Wolf, Lightning Hopkins, Elmore James and Keb Mo among others. He sings original songs and covers from artists such as John Mayer, Bill Withers, Leon Bridges, BB King, Kembo and Prince.

Neal discovered his gift for music and performing during his childhood years. His career has spanned over 30+ years. Neal has toured with female jazz vocalist, Miss Jane Powell, and has played bass for several top 40 bands and jazz combos including pop group Arrested Development, Bobby Brown's group Smooth Silk and legendary blues and soul artist Clarence Carter and William Bell.

Shop from more than 35 farmers market vendors selling fruit, vegetables, meats, eggs, flowers, plants, micro greens, jam, jellies, as well as artisan hand made crafts and more! There will also be ready to eat food vendors on-site.

The Radford Farmers Market will be held every Saturday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the Glencoe Museum Field starting on Saturday, April 20, 2024 through Saturday, October 12, 2024.
