Join the Montgomery County Parks and Rec for a New River Raft Float down the river on Saturday, August 11th.

What a better way to explore the New River Valley than to float on a raft down the river? This trip is designed as a laid-back relaxing float with some exciting class II+ rapids thrown in that will bring you right into nature! Bring your camera because there will be plenty of opportunities for that special shot.

All equipment is provided including dry bags, PFDs, paddles and paddling jackets.

Pack your lunch in your provided dry bag and we will provide river-side snacks for one of the best picnics you’ve ever had!

Participants will meet at the Montgomery County Government Center and be transported to the New River.
