NOTE: Due to expected inclement weather, this event have been postponed. A make-up date has not been set at this point.

WhiteBarrel Winery presents the 2017 Planting Festival on Sunday, April 23, 2017.

Our 7th Annual Planting Festival is going to be the biggest festival we've brought to Montgomery County yet. We will have local wine, beer, and cider for tastings to help expand your local taste buds. Also, the vineyard will be filled with vendors, food trucks, and live music!

Music Lineup is as follows:
• 12:00-1:45 pm: CS2 from Surrender Dorothy
• 2:00-3:45 pm: Uncle Buck
• 4:00-6:00 pm: Awesomesauce

This event is ticketed and each ticket includes the cover charge for music, one tasting for each of our beverage vendors and a brand new Whitebarrel tasting souvenir wine tasting glass. Please purchase tickets online or by calling the winery.

Being a live and studio performer for numerous years, Chris brings a wide variety of musical influences to his music. As a singer / songwriter he performs a large range of musical styles from standards to originals on both guitar and piano. Performing as a solo act or with his projects Surrender Dorothy, Family Reunion, Slick Lingo, CS2 or BLT, Chris serves up a love of performing and good vibes throughout his shows!

Uncle Buck is an acoustic trio with members Steve Anderson, Ray Carhart and Ray Williams based in Blacksburg, VA. The trio blends unique styles and songwriting skills creating original compositions and performing vintage covers everyone knows and recognizes.

Uncle Buck is essentially an acoustic music project started in 2015 which focuses on blending their unique vocal harmonies with their instrumental and songwriting skills. Their live performances incorporate various styles of music with special attention to their original compositions, traditional country, soul, blues, folk and soft rock tunes, but no limits are placed on telling an effective story.

Awesomesauce is a collaboration of local music talent located in Blacksburg, VA.
