The Hahn Garden at Virginia Tech presents a Tour of the Hale-YMCA Community Garden in Blacksburg, VA on Thursday, July 20, 2017 from 9-11 am.

Tour the Community Garden with Garden Coordinator Jenny Schwanke.

The Hale YMCA Community Garden hosts 70 families from about 13 countries growing food using sustainable organic practices. Monthly potlucks and gardening classes along with lots of volunteering by Virginia Tech students and community members makes for a vibrant garden community.

Admission is free.

You can meet at the Hale YMCA Community Garden, or we will also have a van meeting at the Hahn Garden to drive over.
