The 2017 New River Valley Fair will be held on Monday, July 24, 2017 through Saturday, July 29, 2017 at the New River Valley Fairgrounds in Dublin, VA.

Enjoy six days of fun at the New River Valley Fair, a true Country Fair since 1872!

Friday Schedule of Events:
• 10:00 am: Stockman's Contest (Livestock Arena)
• 2:00 pm: Youth Beef Cattle Show (Livestock Arena)
• 5:00 pm: Gates and Rides Open
• 5:00-7:00 pm: Wrestler Jimmy "Boogie Woogie Man" Valiant (Wysor Building)
• 5:00-10:00 pm: Exhibit Halls Open
• 6:00 pm: Cutest Baby Contest (Wysor Building)
• 6:00 pm: Market Lamb and Market Goat Showmanship (Livestock Arena)
• 7:00 pm: ARMA Lawnmower Racing (Adults: $5.00, Children 6 & Under: Free)
• 7:00 pm: Multiple Contest (Wysor Building)
• 7:30 pm: All Star Wrestling (Back Porch Stage)

Enjoy All Star Wrestling on Friday night featuring WWE Hall of Famers The Rock 'n' Roll Express, Ricky Morton and Jimmy Valiant. Admission is free.

ARMA Lawnmower Racing will also be held on Friday starting at 7:00 pm in the Bud Walsh Arena. Tickets for the Grandstand are $5.00 for adults and free for those ages 6 and under.

Gate admission allows you entry into the fair, rides are an additional cost. You can purchase a Pay-One-Price Wristband to ride unlimited rides or purchase individual tickets to ride a specific number of rides. Some entertainment options will have an additional cost.

Note: Rides are typically 3-5 tickets.

The New River Valley Fairgrounds is located at 5581 Fairgrounds Circle in Dublin, VA.

Directions:
Take Interstate 81 and take Exit 98 towards Dublin, VA then merge onto Route 100 North and travel three miles and the Fairgrounds will be on the left.
