The 2017 New River Valley Fair will be held on Monday, July 24, 2017 through Saturday, July 29, 2017 at the New River Valley Fairgrounds in Dublin, VA.

Enjoy six days of fun at the New River Valley Fair, a true Country Fair since 1872! Saturday is the final day of the Fair and features Bulls & Barrels and live music. Gate admission is free from 2:00-3:00 pm.

Saturday Schedule of Events:
• 9:30 am: Open Sheep Show (Richardson Building Arena)
• 1:00 pm: Beef Cattle Showmanship (Richardson Building Arena)
• 2:00 pm: Gates and Rides Open
• 2:00-3:00 pm: Free Gate Admission (only one hour)
• 2:00-10:00 pm: Exhibit Halls Open
• 2:00 pm: Miss Rodeo Virginia Pageant (Bud Walsh Arena)
• 4:00 pm: Market Goat and Market Lamb Shows (Livestock Arena)
• 4:00 pm: Appalachian Hoedowners Performance (Wysor Building)
• 4:00-6:00 pm: Miss Izzy as Belle presented by Ballet with Miss Rachel (Wysor Building)
• 5:00 pm: Cutest Little Farmer Contest (Wysor Building)
• 6:00 pm: Terry Mullins in Concert (Wysor Building)
• 7:00 pm: Bulls & Barrels (Adults: $10.00, Children 6 & Under: Free)

The Bulls & Barrels rodeo will be held on Saturday in the Bud Walsh Arena. Tickets are $10.00 for Grandstand Seating and children 6 & under are free.

• Free daily shows with the Sue Wee Flying Pig Races
• Buffalo Beals Petting Zoo with camel & pony rides available
• Special Volvo Trucks display all week
• NRV Fair's Groovy The Cow
• Miss Relay For Life Pageant

• Fair Food Favorites including fried oreos, cotton candy and elephant ears, candy apples & more

Gate admission allows you entry into the fair, rides are an additional cost. You can purchase a Pay-One-Price Wristband to ride unlimited rides or purchase individual tickets to ride a specific number of rides. Some entertainment options will have an additional cost.

A Pay-One-Price Wristband from 2:00-5:00 pm will be on sale for $19.00. After 5:00 pm, the Pay-One-Price Wristband will be $22.00.

Note: Rides are typically 3-5 tickets.

The New River Valley Fairgrounds is located at 5581 Fairgrounds Circle in Dublin, VA.

Directions:
Take Interstate 81 and take Exit 98 towards Dublin, VA then merge onto Route 100 North and travel three miles and the Fairgrounds will be on the left.
