Blacksburg Country Club presents Aubrey Grant in concert on Friday, September 15, 2017 on the Clubhouse Patio.

With a passionate display of vocal style, range and musical enthusiasm, Aubrey Grant exquisitely melds his talent, training and raw passion into a fun, acoustic based sensation that is guaranteed to leave his audiences feeling inspired, energized and connected to something real.

Currently based in Nashville, Aubrey was raised in the small town of Blacksburg in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. Growing up, whether at church or at school, Aubrey was constantly surrounded by music. He quickly developed a passion for singing, as well as playing guitar and piano. This love of creativity and self expression eventually led him to Philadelphia where he earned a B.F.A. in Musical Theater from The University of the Arts.

Shortly after graduating, Aubrey moved to New York City to pursue theater. After finding success on the Off-Broadway Stage, Cruise Ship scene and Regional Theater world he decided to shift his efforts towards his truest passion… writing, playing, and singing his OWN songs. Reconnecting with his southern roots, Aubrey set course for Tennessee!

Since arriving in Nashville, Aubrey has written, recorded and produced his first EP, Thinkin Bout You, played for thousands of folks in the downtown ‘Honky-Tonks’ and written songs with some of the best writers county music has to offer. What started out as a mentorship with PHIL VASSAR led to a co-write on the song “Stay With Me” which is featured on Phil’s latest album, American Soul. Aubrey continues to write and play with some of Nashville’s best and is working to release a new album in the near future!

Aubrey can be found serenading audiences with heartfelt and honest original music and cleverly crafted renditions of his favorite cover tunes every week in Nashville as well as on tour throughout the Southeast and mid-Atlantic.
