The Town of Christiansburg and Christiansburg Department of Parks and Rec presents the 2017 Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday, December 8, 2017 along Main Street in downtown Christiansburg, VA.

The 2017 Christmas Parade's theme is "All I want for Christmas". Come out and support your community organizations, businesses, churches, clubs, schools, troops and heroes.

The parade will begin at 7:00 pm. Before the parade a Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place at the Town Square starting at 6:55 pm.

The parade will begin near the intersection of Main Street and Pepper Street and end at the intersection of Radford Street and College Street.

Admission is free and all are welcome to attend the free.

At the end of the parade, spectators on the north (National Guard Armory) side of Main Street should exit via College Street. Spectators on the south (Dollar General) side of Main Street should exit via First Street.

Main Street will remain closed to through traffic one hour after the event.

In case of inclement weather, the make-up date will be on Monday, December 11, 2017 at 7:00 pm. The decision will be made by noon on
December 8th to postpone the parade.
