Description:
The Intellectual Disabilities Agency of the New River Valley presents a Story Time with Santa on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Our Saviour Lutheran Church.

At this joint fund raiser, come listen to Santa tell stories from his collection of original books, sing Christmas songs, receive a free book and CD, and have lemonade and cookies.

This visit with Santa is a little different, you get to spend time listening to Santa’s stories, singing songs and sharing a magical experience. There are no lines to wait in and kids sit on the floor or move about the room comfortably, getting to know Santa at their own pace.

Participants will receive an original story written by Santa along with a CD, which includes the narrated version of the story and Santa's Figgy Pudding Band.

The proceeds will benefit Intellectual Disabilities Agency (IDA) and the Santa Cares Project.

The Intellectual Disabilities Agency of the New River Valley provides a variety of programs including social, recreational, educational activities throughout the year for children and adults with an intellectual disability who live in the New River Valley area of southwest Virginia. Such programs address the human need for a balanced life that combines not only rest and work, but also meaningful leisure pursuits.

The agency, started by parents who were seeking services and programs for their loved ones, believes individuals deserve access to opportunities and resources available to all others. Therefore, our agency also provides advocacy supports to promote such access.
