Description:
The Annual Virginia Tech Maroon vs. White Spring Football game will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2018 in Lane Stadium starting at 3:30 pm.

This is your first chance to watch the 2018 Hokie football team.

The game will consist of a controlled offense vs. defense scrimmage with some limited special teams situations. There will be four, 12-minute quarters with a running clock and a 10-minute halftime.

The defense will wear maroon and the offense will wear white. Quarterbacks will wear gold uniforms and no contact will be allowed with them. There will be no rush on field goals and PATs and in punting situations only the punter, snapper and return man will be on the field. There will be no kickoffs.

Spring Game Scoring System:

Offense:
• Touchdown = 6 points
• Field Goal = 3 points
• Extra Point = 1 point

Defense:
• Turnover = 7 points
• 3 & Out = 3 points
• Defensive Stop = 1 point

Following the Spring Game, players will be available for a post game autograph session that will last an hour.

Concessions will be open and the University Bookstore will have their stadium stores open.

Admission and parking are free. Seating and parking are first come, first serve basis.

Gates open at 1:30 pm and gates 1-7 will be open.

The game will be broadcast on the radio on 105.3 FM.
