The Society of Indian Americans at Virginia Tech presents their Culture Show 2018: Ms. Patel and the Magic Rickshaw on Saturday, February 17, 2018 in Burruss Auditorium on the campus of Virginia Tech.

Hop on Ms. Patel’s Magic Rickshaw as they make their way to the beautiful country of India in their next field trip! Join the class in this adventure as they learn about the incredibly diverse cultures of the land and the deep traditions of the people. With history and pride so strong, there’s no telling what else is in store!

During this trip you will experience festive dances by the freshmen celebrating Eid, sophomores celebrating Makar Sankranti, juniors celebrating Holi and seniors celebrating Diwali along with Virginia Tech Dhamaal and Virginia Tech Junoon and a vibrant fashion show.

Admission is free and all ages are welcome.

The Society of Indian Americans at Virginia Tech (SIA) is a cultural society dedicated to enriching the lives of the South Asian community at Virginia Tech, as well as the lives of other students who are interested in the culture and traditions of this region. We participate in many events, on and off campus, as well as host our own annual show at the end of the year in the hope of sharing our culture and heritage with others.

We also encourage participation in any of the three dance teams associated with us, including VT Dhamaal, VT Bhangra, or VT Junoon.
