Description:
Hacksburg presents a Pepakura (3-D Paper Modeling) Class on Saturday, February 24, 2018.
Pepakura, or papercraft, is the art of cutting, folding, and glueing paper to form 3D models. These models can be treated with glue, resin, or bondo to form useful objects including helmets, armor, props, or any other 3D model! Using the shareware Pepakura Designer you can unfold any 3D model into a series of 2D cuts and folds to be printed and assembled.
In this class you will learn how to convert 3D models into printable files, cut and fold your printed designs, assemble a 3D part, and treat your part to be rigid and sturdy.
To cover materials and equipment, this class will cost $5.00. Please bring cash or check to pay the class fee when you come.
