New River Land Trust presents an Early Birders Field Trip to Claytor Lake State Park in Dublin, VA on Thursday, April 19, 2018.

The New River Land Trust is offering free field trips through our new Early Birder Program. They are designed for kids ages 6-12 and their families.

On this trip, we hope to see ducks, gulls, Osprey, bald eagles and red-headed woodpeckers. Lead by Master Naturalists and New River Valley Bird Club members Bill Opengari & Barb Glaser.

There is a $5.00 fee per car to get into Claytor Lake State Park, but the event itself is free.

The program is free, but RSVP is required for all events since space may be limited. Please email conservation@newriverlandtrust.org to reserve your spot.
