Virginia Tech Women's Head Basketball Coach Kenny Brooks presents his 2018 Individual Elite Camp for Girls in Grades 7-12 on Saturday, June 23, 2018 and Sunday, June 24, 2018.
The Elite Camp is offered to those who want to take their game to the next level featuring intense, college-level workouts and individual instruction from the camp coaching staff. Elite Campers will learn advanced fundamental skill for their respective positions. There will be competitive stations, drills and games against top-level competition. The camp will also feature informational sessions to discuss NCAA rules and recruiting.
The camp will be staffed by Virginia Tech Women's Basketball Coaches and will include former and present Virginia Tech Women's Basketball Players.
The camp is open to all girls in grades 7-12.
All campers will receive a camp t-shirt. There will also be camp contests and awards.
Note: Both resident and commuter options are available for this camp.
The cost of the camp is $220.00 for residents (staying overnight and includes air conditioned dorm room and meal plan), $100.00 for two-day commuters and $50.00 for one-day commuters.
Kenny Brooks has coached Virginia for two seasons and taken the Hokies to the post-season both years including advancing to the NIT Championship Game in 2018. Before becoming the head coach at Virginia Tech, Kenny Brooks coached 14-seasons as head coach at James Madison University where he compiled a record of 337-122 (.756), making him the winningest coach in that school’s history. Brooks guided the Dukes to 11 consecutive postseason appearances, including six NCAA bids and five trips to the WNIT and was the conference coach of the year four times.
