Historic Smithfield Plantation presents their 2018 Fourth of July Celebration on Wednesday, July 4, 2018.
The celebration includes children's activities, living history and blacksmith demonstrations, apple pie baking contest, reading of the Fincastle Resolutions and Declaration of Independence, guided tours, and more!
Pies for the Apple Pie Contest must be dropped off between 10:00-11:30 am. The pies will be judged on both appearance and taste by Smithfield volunteers at 12:30 pm and the winner will be announced at 1:00 pm. Entry is free for the contest.
