The Floyd Center for the Arts presents an Artists & Authors Reception featuring three local artists and one local author on Friday, September 14, 2018 at Hotel Floyd's Floyd Center for the Arts Gallery.

Our featured local artists will be:
• Jewelry Artist Maureen Hearn
• Wall Artist Ken Smith
• Pottery Artist Mary Haddon
• Author Chelsea Adams

Also from 6:15-6:30 pm, Chelsea Adams will be doing a reading from her books of poetry, “At Last Light”, “Looking for a Landing” and “Java Poems”. As a special treat, during Chelsea’s poetry reading, her husband Bill Adams will be accompanying her on his guitar.

All Artists’ & Author’s Receptions are open to the public and include free refreshments, a no-host beer & wine bar, and the opportunity to interact with the artists and the author and/or to make purchases.

Works by each rotation of local artists and local authors will be on exhibit and for sale at the Hotel Floyd for the following two months after the reception.
