Music Schedule:
• 12:00 pm: Gate 10 with Addie Levy

Gate 10 is a band hailing from the southwestern corner of Virginia. The band brings a classic and modern sound to bluegrass music.

Addie Levy is a Southwest Virginia bluegrass musician who plays mandolin and sings. She is also a member of Gravel Road Bluegrass Band.

Growing up just down the road from Doc Watson, Billboard-charting artists Cane Mill Road rock the traditional bluegrass standards they grew up on, yet boldly tackle writing original music that often walks the lines between bluegrass, Americana, old-time and folk.

Audiences love Cane Mill Road’s high-energy performances, easy going rapport both on and off stage, and the eclectic mix of originals and standards in the show.

Peers in the bluegrass industry voted Cane Mill Road as one of five nominees for the International Bluegrass Music Association’s Momentum Band-of-the-Year for 2018 — an award to honor rising music stars under 30 years of age. Cane Mill Road’s banjo player, Tray Wellington, was nominated for IBMA’s Momentum Instrumentalist of the Year. IBMA selected Cane Mill Road as a Ramble showcase band in 2017, making the band one of 30 bands in bluegrass to be chosen for the honor.

The band’s two albums spent a seven weeks on Billboard’s Bluegrass Albums charts. The band signed with the Patuxent Music label in Rockville, MD producing an album of 11 originals and three classic covers.

The four young men roam the Blue Ridge Mountain backroads driving between Deep Gap, NC and Rocky Gap, VA to meet and make music together thus the title track of the band’s sophomore album Gap to Gap. The title signifies more than just the long hours on the road touring, but the spaces between the bluegrass foundation of the band’s youth and the new spaces of music they create together. Honoring the past, the band looks to the future with a blended set of traditional and contemporary music.

On Saturdays the Floyd Country Store presents their Americana Afternoon starting at noon.

Each week we schedule different performers to play anything from blues, bluegrass and country to the American roots music of Ireland and Africa.

Admission is free.
