Fort Hope History Tour Guide Service presents a Driving Tour of Rock Churches of Floyd, Patrick and Carroll Counties on Monday, January 28, 2019 with two pick-up locations including Sinkland Farms in the New River Valley.

Step back in time as we travel along the Blue Ridge Parkway and other beautiful countryside back-roads to visit and explore six historic rock churches built in the 1920's by Rev. Bob Childress. His remarkable life is not only heartwarming, it is the inspiration of the book "The Man Who Moved A Mountain".

What's Included:
• Local, knowledgeable guide that will answer your questions and share facts and stories of the sites we visit.
• Luxury Mercedes-Benz Transportation with on-board entertainment, reclining seats and power outlets to charge your devices along the way
• Snacks & bottled water (Various fruit, bags of chips & granola bars etc.)
• At each Stone church we will hop out, take photos & explore
• A stop in Floyd VA - Renowned for its hospitality and vibrant culture of music, arts, local foods, wines and outdoor recreation. Also, home to Floyd Fest a world music and arts festival held annually
During our time in Floyd you will be able to wander the quaint streets, grab a bite to eat or pick up a souvenir at one of the unique local shops.

There are two pick-up/drop-off locations:
• 9:00 am: Winston Link Museum & Visitors Center in Roanoke, VA
• 10:00 am: Sinkland Farms in Riner, VA

The cost is $75.00 per person.

The tour will last 6-8 hours depending on your pickup location. Estimated drop-off is 4:00 pm at Sinkland Farms and 5:00 pm at the Winston Link Museum & Visitors Center in Roanoke.
