The Science Museum of Western Virginia presents CraftBar on Monday, February 11, 2019 at Big Lick Brewing Company in Roanoke, VA.

CraftBar is a brand new event from the Science Museum of Western Virginia that combines good fun and good beer. Bring your friends and family and we will guide you through an engaging, hands-on activity with plenty of laughs and chances for you to express your more creative side.

This month has a special Valentine's Day theme as we will be making light-up Valentine's using electric circuits and LED lights that will really bring them to life! There will be a brief guide on how to create your circuits, but then we will leave it to you to lose yourself in the activity and create your masterpiece. We will also be offering cash prizes throughout the event for cards that really stand out from the crown.

It costs $5.00 to participant and you will receive a starter kit which will all the materials you will need to make your card, but there will be more materials available to make your Valentine more extravagant at no extra cost.

You don’t need to bring anything, just your enthusiasm!
