The Blacksburg Partnership presents the 3rd Annual Virginia Cheese Fest Farm to Table Dinner on Friday, June 7, 2019 at the Historic Smithfield Plantation Pavilion.

The Virginia Cheese Fest Farm to Table dinner celebrates the flavors and melt in your mouth delights of Meadow Creek Dairy Cheese, artfully prepared by the chefs of the Palisades Restaurant in Eggleston, Virginia and paired with select wines highlighting fresh, locally sourced cuisine. The Palisades will bring their style and hospitality to provide Blacksburg with an evening of great food and great company under the stars.

There will be a welcome reception at 6:30 pm with the four-course dinner and wine pairings to follow at 7:15 pm.

Guests are invited to attend this scrumptious dinner to learn how local ingredients make it from the farm to their fork, and why selections are paired to bring together the flavors of dishes and wines.

It’s advisable to wear comfortable shoes for the natural terrain and anticipate a change in temperature as the evening may be cool. Jeans and smart casual wear will not be out of place, but have a little fun with it! We recommend bringing sunglasses, if needed, and insect repellents, especially if they find you more attractive than the food.
