MountainTrotter and The Radford Heritage Foundation presents the 2019 West End Wednesdays Kickoff with a free concert featuring Ball & Chain on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 outside on the Glencoe Mansion, Museum & Gallery lawn.

Live music will be provided by Radford duo Ball & Chain, on-site food provided by Main Street Bistro, craft beer & wine available for purchase, plus local vendors and family fun! Free community yoga will also be available from 6:00-6:30 pm presented by Downey Dog Yoga.

Ball & Chain is a stripped down acoustic rock duo. A girl from the mountains of Virginia and a boy from the Bronx. The regional musical influences of each coalesce into melodious tension. Passion, fun and sass pervades Jon & Lucinda’s blend of rock, R&B, and blues, resulting in vocals and harmonies that stroke your soul. And if you don’t have a soul, then you’ll probably still enjoy listening to some good music. Original Americana with an edge, eclectic covers thrown in for good measure. Adult alternative for those who like to classify.

Bring your friends, family, dog, water bottle, lawn chairs and blankets! Just leave your cooler at home - we have food & beverage on-site! Don't forget your ID and some cash! We won't serve without a valid ID and most of our vendors are cash only.

Public parking is available in the Kollmorgen Lot. Special Needs parking available in the top lot directly next to Glencoe.
