Blacksburg Community Strings presents their 2016 Fall Concert on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at the Blacksburg Middle School.
The concert includes:
• Highlights from Harry Potter arr. Michael Story
• Bassoon Concerto in B-dur by Mozart with Annie Chilcote on bassoon
• Waltz No. 2 by Shostakovich
• Trumpet Concerto in D by Johann Fasch with Darrell Pearman
• Jazz Pizzacato by Leroy Anderson
• Symphony No. 40 in g minor by WA Mozart
As usual, this performance doesn't have tickets and admission is free. Donations are welcome and tax-deductible!

The Blacksburg Community Strings (BCS), a community ensemble of violin, viola, cello and string bass players, was formed in October 1999 and had its debut public performance in December 1999. It is made up of middle and high school students, avocational community players, and active and retired professionals.
BCS welcomes string players of all ages and abilities from Blacksburg and the surrounding region. All members are volunteers. There are no dues or fees. No auditions are required. Requirements: Your love of music and your willingness to work hard!
