Jessie Peterman Library presents Celebrate Astronomy Week Program with Professor of Physics on Friday, April 7, 2017.
Ken Cundiff, professor of physics at Radford University, will give an introduction to astronomy presentation. Learn about types of telescopes and their use, what you can see, photography, web links to get you started and more!
He'll demonstrate how to use our Orion SkyQuest XT4.5 Dobsonian, a donation by Mrs. Dolly Moore. This telescope will soon be available for public use.
