The Radford Visitors Center & SAS Attractions presents the 2017 Music on the New Concert Series July Concert featuring The Whiskey River Band and DJ Josh Boggs on Friday, July 14, 2017 on the lawn of the Glencoe Mansion, Museum & Gallery.

Reckless 81 is the ultimate variety band! Formerly known as The Whiskey River Band, they play both new and old country, Southern Rock, 80's Rock, old school R&B through to the latest hits. The band formed in 2006 and is based in the New River Valley region of Virginia.

Always performing with infectious enthusiasm, Reckless 81 plays well known Country, Southern and Classic Rock from some of the greatest bands in recent history. We focus on fun, dynamic and impressive covers and are a band to interact and party with!

The band plays local shows as well as travelling to North Carolina and West Virginia.

The band has enjoyed many highlights along the way, including a monthly residency at Cowboy Up in Bluefield, WV, sharing the stage with Buddy Jewell and playing with Top Shelf in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Equally at home in smaller venues, larger shows and outdoor concerts, Reckless 81 is a band for all seasons!

Born Josh Rabideau, DJ Josh Boggs was raised in a small suburb outside Ocala, Florida and later the country town of Chatham, Illinois before moving to Nashville to pursue chasing his dream of becoming a national DJ. DJ Josh Boggs love for music was a escape for him to express himself.

DJ Josh Boggs is known for his chameleon-like ability to rock crowds creatively mashing up genres with ease, always creating an electric atmosphere for everyone in the venue no matter the age or what kind of music they like.

Performing at over 200 events a year with the Boots n Bikinis Nightlife Rodeo Tour, Jagermiester events, bike weeks, and sharing the stage with national acts and regional bands and on his own DJ Tour. DJ Josh Boggs is currently traveling the nation headlining major events and venues as a National Jagermiester Sponsored Artist and sharing the stage with Chris Young, Jana Kramer, Puddle of Mudd, Molly Hatchet, Brett Micheals, Charlie Daniels, Travis Tritt, the Dobbie Brothers,
REO Speedwagon, just to name a few.

Voted by Thunder Roads Magazine as next up and coming Bike Week and Club DJ in 2013 and was the 2014 Best Featured Entertainment Artist. Humbled by this achievement Josh has become one of the most sought after DJ and emcees across the country. No matter the venue or city, DJ Josh Boggs guarantees to deliver a high energy and memorable performance.
