The Virginia Tech Department of Horticulture and Virginia Cooperative Extension present Hop Yard Open House II on Friday, August 4, 2017 at the Virginia Tech Research Hop Yard within Virginia Tech's Urban Horticulture Center.

Join us for our second Hop Yard Open House featuring presentations, demonstrations and refreshments. We welcome all current and potential growers, commercial or home brewers or anyone who is just curious about hops.

In-field Presentation Topics:
• Trellis Construction
• Cultivar Trials

Additional Demos:
• Determining when to Harvest
• Tips on Pesticide Safety

Admission is free and no pre-registration is required.

Light refreshments will be served.

The event is rain or shine.

Virginia Tech's Urban Horticulture Center is located at 1004 Old Mill Road in Blacksburg, VA across from Blacksburg High School.
