The XYZ Art Gallery presents Art Reception for Sad Fish with Legs on Friday, September 1, 2017.

"Sad Fish With Legs" is a mixed media comic by Brendon Knopes. Originally a set of doodles conceived during an uninspiring math course, she has gone on to blend her crude drawings with photography. Most of the work focuses on discontent, banal interactions and a stripped bare look at life with depression.
The exhibit will also feature some of her other art that falls outside of the "Sad Fish With Legs" name. Video, photography, and glitch have all helped inform the process through which "Sad Fish With Legs" was made.
The exhibit will be on display at the XYZ Art Gallery from September 1-17, 2017.
