Description:
New River Fiber Co. presents the Sewing Class: Tova Top or Dress meeting on Thursday, November 2, 2017 and Thursday, November 9, 2017 from 5:30-8:30 pm.

The Tova Top and Dress pattern is a little more advanced than Wiksten's Tank we taught earlier in the Summer. It's a good choice for those wanting to move on to a slightly more challenging project, and it's an excellent stepping stone on the way to more advanced tops, like collared, button-front shirts. The top is an easy-fitting tunic with a stand collar, open placket, and 3/4 length sleeves, and the above-knee length dress version is included in the pattern as well.

The class level is Intermediate and will be led by instructor Jessica Jones.

Materials Required:
• Pattern https://shopwiksten.com/collections/all/products/womens-tova-top-dress-sewing-pattern-pdf
• Fabric (2 ½-3 ½ yards)
• Double-fold bias tape
• Thread to match chosen fabric

Students must provide their own sewing machine.

There is some homework prior to the first class.
