Rising Silo Farm Brewery presents a sound system gig titled "Speaker Tweaker: World Beats on Vinyl" on Monday, September 4, 2017.

Mike and Cara Gangloff will be spending Labor Day evening exploring the possibilities and quirks of the barn's sonic environment, checking out the frequency blend with a raft of jazz, world and oddball recordings and maybe hoisting some live wow and flutter into the mix as well.

Mike and Cara Gangloff are Appalachian indie folkers with an international taste in their instrumentation (hardanger fiddle, hurdy gurdy, more) and a unified musical theory that connects the dots from free jazz and improv music to the Gershwins and regional old-time tunes.

Mike Gangloff is also a member of the old-time stringband Black Twig Pickers and the acoustic band Pelt among others.
