Blacksburg Comedy Club presents comedy headliner Brendan Kennedy featuring Nick Guacheta and Rob Ruthenburg on Friday, October 13, 2017 at Bull & Bones Brewhaus & Grill.

This Friday the 13th, comedy returns to Bull and Bones with a show that will be more fun than a trip to Camp Crystal Lake! We’re back with headliner Brendan Kennedy, special guests Nick Guacheta, Rob Ruthenberg, and Kris Monger, and your host, Robbie Hockett. Cover is just $5.00 for four fantastic comedians.

Brendan Kennedy has been performing comedy in comedy clubs everywhere since 2005, though he’s been screaming drunk so long he’s forgotten when he first started making people laugh. Born in New York City and raised in Virginia Beach, Brendan’s comedy, while at times loud and controversial, is delivered in a smart, quick-witted and likable way that’s full of southern comfort. Or Scotch. Brendan’s act concentrates on modern-day life, partying, and dating.

A combination of insight and the obscene, his comedy is a fun ride that will leave you sweaty and breathless, and possibly unable to operate heavy machinery. Brendan graduated from Virginia Tech, with a degree in English. So he pretty much had to do stand-up, because it’s not like he’s getting a real job any time soon.

Nick Guacheta is a stand up comic based out of Roanoke, Virginia. Nick performs all around Virginia, West Virginia and North Carolina.

Rob Ruthenberg is a Roanoke, VA based comedian. He started his career as a stand up comic touring across the country working with such acts as Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Billy Gardell, and Weird Al. He's now an on-air personality for The Valley's Music Place 101.5 FM, Roanoke's local radio station.

Kris Monger is a stand-up comedian currently residing in Blacksburg, VA and Virginia Tech graduate. His sets are funny, unpredictable and may include an alter ego or two. Other than laughs you're never sure what you're going to get.
