Description:
The Virginia Tech Men's and Women's Basketball teams present Hokie Hoops Madness on Friday, October 20, 2017 at Cassell Coliseum.

Hokie Hoops Madness is to celebrate last season’s successes and bring basketball entertainment to Blacksburg before the start of the regular season.

Activities will include the unveiling of post-season banners for both teams and the men’s team will be awarded their NCAA Tournament rings. Fans will also get a chance to see the new, redesigned playing court and sit in the new seating, installed during the summer. There will be shooting and skills contests with fan participation in selected contests.

Entertainment for the event will be provided by DJ TMMPO, along with the Marching Virginians’ drumline. Jon Laaser will be the emcee for the event.

This will be fans first opportunity to see the teams before they open their seasons on Friday, November 10, 2017.

Admission is free of charge and open to the public.
