Description:
Virginia Tech Recreational Sports and the Virginia Tech Police Department present the 2017 Homecoming 5k Neon Run on Friday, October 20, 2017 at the Virginia Tech Cross Country Course starting at 5:30 pm.

The Homecoming 5K race is held each year as part of the Homecoming festivities. The race is a Neon Run so wear your neon, show up early for neon body paint and make sure to get a neon necklace.

This year's race also remembers Officer Deriek Crouse who bravely protected the Virginia Tech community until he was tragically killed in the line of duty on December 8, 2011.

The cost is $20.00 for the general public and $10.00 for students and law enforcement officials.

After race pizza will be provided by Domino's.

Proceeds from the run benefit VA C.O.P.S and Rec Sports student development.
