The Christiansburg Aquatic Center will be hosting its first-ever community tailgate starting at 3:30 pm on Friday, October 21, 2017 before the Virginia Tech Swimming and Diving Sprint Challenge meet begins at 4 pm.
This is a Virginia Tech home meet, and former Virginia Tech football coach Frank Beamer will be making a guest appearance at the tailgate. There will be food trucks onsite where attendees may purchase food.
The event is free and open to the public.
The competition pool will close at 1:30 pm on Friday and will reopen on Saturday, October 21 at 11 am The leisure and therapy pools will follow their normal weekday schedule.
