Smithfield Plantation hosts the Indian Run Stringband CD Release Party on Sunday, November 5, 2017.

Join Indian Run String Band and Historic Smithfield for the CD release party of the The Smithfield Sessions. Indian Run String Band cut most of the tracks in the Drawing Room at Smithfield.

Please stop by and enjoy some music, take a tour, or purchase the new CD. The band will perform in the main passage at Smithfield from 3:00-5:00 pm.

The Indian Run Stringband from Blacksburg, VA plays fiddle and banjo foot stomping dance tunes, ballads and sings traditional songs with old time harmonies perfect for dancing the two step.

From dance tunes to the blues, the Indian Run Stringband plays with love and abandon. They make old-time music fresh and new.

Enjoy music on the back porch for free, but regular tour prices apply for the main house.
