Description:
The Radford Public Library presents the 2017 Public Library Tree Lighting Ceremony on Tuesday, December 5, 2017.

Come to our annual tree lighting ceremony and enjoy a variety of refreshments, activities, Santa Claus and local performers! The ceremony is the kickoff to Radford's Parade of Lights.

The night's schedule of events are as follows:

• 5:00-6:00 pm: Photos with Santa, crafting for kids, cookies, cocoa, & cider (Note: Refreshments will be available from 5:00-7:00 PM)

• 5:30-5:45 pm: Welcome announcement and holiday song with the Radford University Women's Chorale

• 6:00-6:30 pm: Handbells with Grove United Methodist Handbell Choir

• 6:30-6:45 pm: Ukulele band and singing...leading up to tree lighting ceremony

• 6:30 pm -- Tree Lighting (outside)

The Library will wrap up events by 7:00 pm so that folks can gather in front of the Library building to see the Radford City Holiday Parade go by.

Admission is free and all are welcome.
