The Virginia Tech Women's Club presents their January 2018 Friday Forum titled "A Culinary Adventure" with Chouly Ou, PhD., research scientist at Virginia Tech's Department of Fish and Wildlife Conservation, on Friday, January 5, 2018 on Luther Memorial Lutheran Church in Blacksburg, VA.
Chouly Ou is a native of Cambodia. She earned her PhD in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences from Texas A & M University in 2013, then returned to Cambodia to be a lecturer. Chouly is an excellent cook and has demonstrated her talents for the International Women's Group and for the Hale YMCA Community Gardeners.
She will lead a hands on demonstration of how to make spring rolls.
This event is open to the public and free of charge.
All events begin with coffee and conversation at 10:00 am on the first Friday of the following months: October, November. December, February and April.
Luther Memorial Church is located at 600 Prices Fork Road in Blacksburg, VA.
