Gillie's presents Highland Jazz in concert on Saturday, January 6, 2018.
The Highlands Jazz Quintet was formed in 2010 by a diverse group of musicians who all have in common a love for historical and modern jazz. Highlands Jazz plays jazz standards and modern jazz in a variety of line-ups including a trio and quintet.
The group features Justin Craig on guitar, Paul Deck on piano, Lou Madsen on sax, Bill Ray on drums and Nick Romantini on bass. Highland Jazz has performed at the Moss Arts Center, Steppin' Out, the Salem Jazz Festival, The Taubman Museum and at many other local venues and events.
Admission is free and tips for the musicians are suggested.
