Description:
Hahn Horticulture Garden at Virginia Tech continues their Learn at Lunch Series with "Future Plans for the Garden" led by Scott Douglas, the Director of the Hahn Horticulture Garden, on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at the Peggy Lee Hahn Pavilion.
Scott Douglas began working as the Director of the Hahn Horticulture Garden in August 2017 and he has brought a variety of ideas to expand and improve the garden. His presentation will include an introductory overview of his career as a landscape architect and a few preliminary design concepts for garden improvements.
He is beginning to work on elements of a new master plan for the garden and wants to provide an opportunity for garden patrons to offer feedback on the current state of the garden and possible future improvements. Please come be and help kick off the beginning of our master plan process.
Admission is free and all are welcome.
A parking pass is required for our visitor lot. A pass can be picked up at the Pavilion the day of the talk at no cost.
