New River Community College presents their Family Fun Festival on Saturday, February 24, 2018 in 117 Edwards Hall at their Dublin, VA campus.
New River Community College is hosting a "Family Fun Festival" with a variety of activities for adults and children.
Children's activities include:
• Face Painting
• Balloon Art
• Bouncy House
• Mechanical Bull
• Games
• Tricycle Race for kids 5 years & younger (starting around 1:45 pm)
There will also be several science tables with animal displays including snakes, a falcon, lizards, rats, scorpions, genetically modified fish, tarantulas and Madagascar hissing cockroaches. The cockroaches will also be part of a “cockroach race” event.
Other activities include health and wellness activities and screenings.
Live music will be provided by the band "Don't Quit Your day Job" and free popcorn will be available.
Sponsored by NRCC’s Faculty Assembly, the event and all activities are free and open to the public.
