The Virginia Tech School of Performing Arts presents the talk "What it’s like to Work in Hollywood" with Centropolis Entertainment Head of Production & Development Marco Shepherd on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at the Theatre 101 in downtown Blacksburg, VA.
Marco Shepherd, Head of Production and Development at Centropolis Entertainment, will speak about what it's like to work in Hollywood and will engage in a Q&A with the audience. Shepherd is also a Virginia Tech graduate.
Centropolis Entertainment is the film and television production company of international filmmakers, director Roland Emmerich, and his sister, producer Ute Emmerich. Centropolis has produced numerous high visibility movies, including "Independence Day", "White House Down, "The Day After Tomorrow", "Godzilla" and "The Patriot". Shepherd supervises the development and production of all Centropolis film and television projects. Since the company's inception in 1985, its 25 films have grossed over $3 billion worldwide.
