The Korean American Student Association (KASA) at Virginia Tech presents their Culture Show 2018 titled "Daybreak" on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Burruss Auditorium on the campus of Virginia Tech.
The show is set in the Joseon Dynasty, where the series focuses on the lives of Crown Prince Lee Yeong, and his new bride, Lia. They learn to deal with their differences in social status and they begin to realize that they need to work together to bring their nation together. It is a coming-of-age story that shows Yeong’s growth from a cold, ignorant prince into a prince worthy of becoming King and how Lia helps Yeong evolve and learn compassion.
