Description:
The Izaak Walton League presents the 2018 Kids Fishing Rodeo on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at the The Izaak Walton Facility in Christiansburg, VA.

Children ages 12 and under will enjoy fishing in the stocked Izaak Walton pond for the rodeo. Each kid will be allowed to catch trout up to three pounds.

Age Groups:
• Ages Up to 4-6
• Ages 7-9
• Ages 10-12

Awards will be in given out for the top three fish in each age group.

There will also be a free lunch for registered children and BBQ lunch available for adults for $5.00 a plate.

Registration is from 12:00-2:00 pm and the event is open from 12:00-5:00 pm.

The Izaak Walton League helps to conserve, maintain, protect and restore the soil, forest, water and other natural resources of the United States and other lands and to promote means and opportunities for the education of the public with respect to such resources and their enjoyment and wholesome utilization.

The event is rain or shine.

The Izaak Walton Facility is located at Izaak Walton Lane in Christiansburg, VA just off of Den Hill Road.
