Description:
The Virginia Tech School of Performing Arts presents the 2018 Virginia Tech Commencement Concert on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at the Moss Arts Center at Virginia Tech.

The Virginia Tech Wind Ensemble, under the direction of faculty member Jonathan Caldwell, will perform a commencement concert to honor all the 2018 Virginia Tech graduates.

Selections in include:
• "Paso Doble" by Santiago Lope
• "O Mensch, bewein dein Sünde groß,” BWV 622 from Orgel-Büchlein by Johann Sebastian Bach
• "Old Home Days" by Charles Ives
• Sea Songs by Ralph Vaughan Williams
• "Waltz no. 2" from Suite for Variety Orchestra by Dmitry Shostakovich
• Second Suite in F for Military Band, op. 28, no. 2 by Gustav Holst
• "Comedians' Galop" from The Comedians, op. 26 by Dmitry Kabalevsky
