Newport-Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church hosts the Newport Cares Summer Food Boxes Prep Event on Saturday, June 2, 2018 in the Fellowship Hall.
For the past five years, Newport-Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church has provided Summer Food Boxes for the same students who received backpacks through the Newport Cares Backpack Program. You are invited to join us as we assemble these boxes.
Last year, 48 Summer Food Boxes were provided to hungry students at Eastern Elementary / Middle School at a time when they are unable to access regular school meals.
