Join Historic Smithfield Plantation at their 2018 Memorial Day Flags and Flowers Ceremony on Monday, May 28, 2018.

Join Historic Smithfield for the Annual Flags and Flowers Ceremony on Memorial Day in the Preston Cemetery. The 24th Virginia Infantry / 83rd Pennsylvania Infantry will be our honor guard, Boy Scouts will present colors, Andrew Meeks will play the bagpipes and everyone in attendance can help us place flags and flowers that will be provided on the graves following the short ceremony commemorating the day.

House tours will be available inside Smithfield for the normal fee on the hour from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Please park at Smithfield and walk to the cemetery.
