Relay For Life of Giles County presents Hootenanny Days on Friday, June 1, 2018 and Saturday, June 2, 2018 at the Pearisburg Community Center.
Saturday Schedule:
• 10:00-11:00 am: Glen Lyn Church of Christ Puppets (Inside Stage)
• 10:45-11:25 am: Appalachian Aftershock Cloggers (Outside Stage)
• 11:30 am - 12:00 pm: Sherman Brown (Outside Stage)
• 12:10-12:50 pm: Bluegrass from Goldrush (Outside Stage)
• 1:00-1:45 pm: Pie Eating Contest for Ages 18 & Up
• 1:00-1:45 pm: Penny in a Haystack for Kids Ages 2-11
• 1:00-1:45 pm: Bring your Best SPAM Vittles
• 1:00-4:00 pm: BINGO (Inside)
• 2:00-4:30 pm: Relay Beauty Pageant (Inside Stage)
• 2:00-2:30 pm: Tribute to Hank Williams, Sr. from Tommy Griffith (Outside Stage)
• 2:45-3:30 pm: Bluegrass from Barry and The Mudflaps
• 3:30-4:00 pm: SPAM Art Contest
• 4:00-7:30 pm: Hee-Haw Show (Outside Stage)
• 8:00 pm: Tribute to Dolly Parton and Reba with Wendy-T (Tickets Required)
Hootenanny Days features lots of entertainment from vendors, food, puppets, pageants, dancers, lots of singing, our very own Hee-Haw Show and more! Enjoy family fun for all ages!
Fun Factory will have their bouncy houses and other items for kids and adults. There will be SPAM Art Contest and prepare, cook and bring your favorite, special SPAM Recipe for the judged SPAM Recipe Contest.
The Penny In A Haystack Contest features three age categories (ages 2-4, 5-8, 9-11) and prizes will be awarded.
The Pie Eating Contest will feature six adult contestants and the pies will be provided.
The Hee-Haw Show will feature tributes to Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, George Jones, Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash, The gossip Girls, Junior, Cornfield Jokes and Minnie Pearl.

This is a free admittance community event to help us raise money for Relay For Life of Giles County. Some events and activities will have an additional cost and donations are welcome.
All proceeds raised will benefit Relay For Life and their fight against cancer.
