UPDATE: Due to the inclement weather today, the Frog Pond was closed and tonight's Summer Movie has been cancelled.
Montgomery County Parks & Recreation wraps up their 2018 Summer Movie Series with the animated film "Coco" on Friday, August 3, 2018 at the Frog Pond.
"Coco" is a 2017 animated film rated PG starring the voices of Anthony Gonzalez, Benjamin Bratt and Gael Garcia Bernal.
Movie Synopsis:
Despite his family's baffling generations-old ban on music, Miguel dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz. Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead following a mysterious chain of events. Along the way, he meets charming trickster Hector, and together, they set off on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel's family history.

While waiting for the movies to begin, take a splash in the pool or enjoy free popcorn. Movies will begin as soon as it is dark enough to see the screen.
If you arrive before 6:00 pm, general admission fees to the Frog Pond Swimming Pool apply. If you arrive at 6:00 pm or after, admission is free.
No pre-registration is required. Feel free to bring all your friends and family to that warm summer air under the stars with us!
Bring your own blanket or chair to sit on.
The Frog Pond Swimming Pool is located at 390 Cinnabar Road in Christiansburg, VA.
