Radford University Art Museum Downtown presents Opening Reception for Dinh Luc: Vietnamese Woodblock Printmaker on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at the Radford University Art Museum on Tyler.
Dinh Luc is an award-winning, internationally renowned Vietnamese artist whose works have been on display in Japan, France, Poland, Vietnam, Russia, Germany, the United States, and the Czech Republic. He is most well known for his woodblock folk art depicting the beauty, traditions, scenes and symbolism from Vietnamese culture of days long past. From traditional festivals and temples to traditional folklore, Luc's works embrace the charms, customs and history of his birthplace, Hanoi, Vietnam.
Admission is free and all are welcome..
The exhibit will be on display to the public from September 12, 2018 through November 2, 2018.
The Radford University Art Museum on Tyler is located at 214 Tyler Street in Radford, VA next to BT's.
