Musica Viva presents the concert "Kaleidoscope – A Medley of Sounds for Voice, Strings and Piano" on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation.

A beautiful blend of compositions for voice, piano and strings, will be featured in this concert, including the music of composers Puccini, Golijov, Gershwin, and Villa-Lobos.

Musicians are Ariana Wyatt, soprano; Brian Thorsett, tenor; David Ehrlich and Stefan Hersh, violin; Diane Phoenix-Neal, viola; Benjamin Wyatt, cello; Teresa Ehrlich, piano.

Musica Viva is organized to promote awareness and appreciation of chamber music specifically, and the arts in general. Since 2001 Musica Viva has been providing chamber music performances by internationally-acclaimed musicians for communities in the New River Valley and throughout Southwest Virginia.

We strive to provide five chamber music events per year. Musica Viva was created in recognition that access to the arts, in its many manifestations, is universally cited as central to the quality of life in a community.
